Harris Teeter Super Doubles

I ran over to Harris Teeter after work on Friday to take advantage of their super doubles event. I had an hour to kill before my little boy woke up from his nap and we could go out to dinner. I was pretty pleased with the deals I was able to get. If you aren't familiar with super doubles at Harris Teeter. My total before coupons and club card savings was $85.69. My total after was $28.07. That is a savings of 67%. Not my best percentage but I will definitely take it! Plus the Bulls Eye BBQ sauce and Kraft Mac and Cheese will go towards the Kraft Rebate that I am working on. Spend $30 on select Kraft products and receive a $10 rebate.

Harris Teeter and my Ebates check!

Today is the last day of the Harris Teeter sale. They have applesauce cups and cheese on sale - my kids two favorite things......so we ran over to pick up a few items. Sorry about the lack of pictures. When we moved, we somehow misplaced the charger for our camera. I hope I can find it soon though because my daughter graduates from preschool next week and I would really like some pictures!

Safeway Trip 5.16.10

I had a great trip to Safeway this morning. :) My main reason for going was the ground beef on sale for $1.59 per pound. We only have 5 meals worth of beef left in our freezer and that makes me nervous! I don't want to have to pay full price - the horrors! I also grabbed a few other deals while I was there.

That is a savings of 75%!!! Then I did a second transaction and purchased 4.1 pounds of ground beef for $6.52. I used the (2) $3 OYNO from the Scrubbing Bubbles deal. The total was 68 cents! I saved 97% after sales and coupons. Plus it gets even better. I have a $6 rebate WYB $10 worth of ground beef. After coupons, discounts, sales, and rebates, I will have paid $10.71 for $76.22 worth of food and cleaning supplies! That is a savings of 86%!!!!

I Heart Safeway

The kids and I went to Safeway on Saturday night to grab some deals. I couldn't pass up 49 cent lunch meat! I just wish I had printed more Oscar Mayer coupons last week so I could get more! Here are some of the highlights:

Sorry about the blogging hiatis. My life has been more than busy the last few weeks. We moved this past weekend. We love our new place! But we moved from a 4th floor apartment so it was quite an adventure. We are so thankful for all the friends and family who helped us move.....couldn't have done it without you! We were moved in by Sunday and then Monday I was hit with some sort of body ache/chills/fever flu. Not so much fun. :( I am on the mend but still moving slowly. I didn't do any deal shopping last week but I managed to hit the last day of HT Triples yesterday. My hubbie drove me over and I picked up two things. Here's how I did:
